I do this with my nail polishes too! I don't use gel polish though. I have 2 rings full of swatches. When I get stressed I play with them. The colors, the sound, everything is so calming to me

Have you considered getting clear swatches? The white ones are great if you're always doing a white base, but what if you're doing it on natural nails or a different base? I love my salon cos they have clear swatches, so you can layer them to get a better idea of the final look

Omg. I just got my swatch nails in the mail and Ive been putting it off since then because I realized its going to take days to get through all of them with my nail light. It stays on for only 30 seconds at a time and I tend to zone out and not realize the light turned off 😂

I am working on this as well. My kit came with number stickers so it takes less time but it does take a while. I think i have 70ish colors and have only done 16 swatches so far. It makes it so much easier to choose a good color

I do dip nails at home and have swatches too. I have them all labeled with the name of the powder and a number. I love picking out colors to go together.

I started doing my own gel nails during COVID. I also do this with the same swatches. I bought little number sticker sheets on Amazon that go up to 500. So I can easily tell which bottle I’m looking for, one sticker goes on the bottle and one on the swatch stalk. I’m in the 170s. 😅

Oh gosh, this would take me forever. I have a little less than 400. One Christmas I mentioned I was doing my own extensions and gel and the family went a little overboard 😂
