Draper beaten but plenty to be proud about
The British tennis star lost to Italy's Jannik Sinner in his first grand slam semi-final at the US Open after being sick on court four times. The 22-year-old was the first British man to reach the last four in the US Open since Andy Murray won it in 2012. Grand Slam tournament ended in a 7-5 7-6 (7-3) 6-2 defeat in New York. Draper was ranked 123rd in the world this time last year but will become a top-20 player for the first time next week. Final of US open will be Janik Sinner and Taylor Fritz on Sunday.
