Yeah, this is exactly why I think it should mostly be placement based. Because it makes you so you only want the lead at the end, meaning you might not catch up.
I lapped everyone on Baby Park, almost double lapped last place, but the reason I came in fourth was because I got Lightning, four blue shells, SIX RED SHELLS, and I only got a sound box before the lightning and only coins throughout the entire race outside of it. No mushrooms, no shells, no bananas, just useless coins when I already have 10.
And I almost never get the Bullet Bill when I’m in LAST!!
