After Effects Tutorial: Infinite Stars w/Loop Control

Create Stars in After Effects
Make an infinite loop through a starfield.
Use Loop Control to keyframe the loop.

Loop Control takes a PreComp you want to loop, and provides a control to keyframe the speed and time of the loop as much as you want.

0:35 - I used FX Console to quickly select an effect without going to the effects and presets panel.

Drop existing comp into a new comp, you could use the angle expression control to drive a time remapping expression like this one:

loopCtrl=effect("Angle Control")("Angle");
linear(loopCtrl%360, 0, 360, 0, key(2).value)


Simple it is..!

I'm not new to AE, and your instructions are easy to follow.. im having trouble with the shape layers. Whenever i change the fill color nothing seems to change.. all that appears in my comp panel is ... nothing

If you can´t see the stars moving, click on activate camera 1 on the lower part of the display composition viewer.
