It's cool to take your time doing photography too, pushing people to buy a new tripod to gain 10 seconds isn't really the most usefull thing.

But it's also not at all the fastest way to deploy a carbon tripod that you're doing here either on the left, that's just a slower method on purpose.

To do it quick: just unlock all segments of each leg at the same time in one go with your hand, then shake the tripod two times all legs will deploy to the ground, hold the head with one hand and secure all segments with the other and it's done in less than 6-7 seconds.
