Best Tripod for Filmmakers STOP BUYING CHEAP 💩

The Sachtler Tripod Sytem with the aktiv8 head is by far the most incredible tripod I have ever used. I've been using the Flowtech legs for over 3 years and still to this day nothing has come close.

I upgraded all my heads to Sachtler from Manfrotto, best decision ever. In addition to the points in this video, Sachtler goes where you point it without kickback if it is dialed in correctly. So even with the smallest cameras, it looks like it was taken with a large setup because of the precise small movements. If you are an event streamer, there's nothing like having an easy and quick setup and breakdown. I also use Sachtler heads with Gitzo tripod legs. I use the 75mm bowl adapter.

4000% cost increase, versus 2% usability upgrade. Nah son.
I don’t think anyone should cheap-out on this kind of equipment, obviously; but there are plenty of quality pieces for under $1k

I just bought a Sirui SVS75 tripod with SVH15 fluid head instead of a Sachtler system. The Sirui is heavy duty and I love the twist locks over leg levers.

And they cost three of your children, their college funds, and a half pint of your blood. Not very affordable (@ $3, 600) for really anyone unless you are making the big bucks. I really wish someone would make a knock-off that was more affordable. I love the tripod, it's just outrageously priced. A Manfroto for less would suffice.

I've heard many people come up with the same issues...
If you're shooting outdoors in rain/snow, then it will corrode the pin.
It can also start to "pop" off, especially in low or high temps

Yeeeaahhh I'm poor and can't afford $3600 bucks for a tripod whew ! Maybe one day! My Manfrotto 502's have been great for me. But this is a bad ass tripod.
