Brake Proportioning Valve Install - Miata Install and Adjustment (Wilwood)

preview_player
Показать описание
Part 2 of the budget big brake kit series is the installation of a Wilwood Brake Proportioning Valve in the K Swapped Miata. A brake proportioning valve is important to properly balance a modified braking system, like the one that we're installing in the miata. This piece is a Wilwood design, but supplied through Flyin' Miata with all of the proper fittings to make it work on your miata. This upgrade is also beneficial on a non-modified braking system, especially if you race your miata or are running more aggresive street pads, as miata's are known to have a heavy rear brake bias from the factory.

Hmm, maybe re-bleed the fronts? I have Dynalites on mine with a 1.6L master and I have no problem locking up the fronts.

Thank you for this video! This video is way more helpful than the supposed "good" customer service of chase bays. I'm going to try this method of bleeding later.

I got their brake booster eliminator kit with their brake bias valve, and was having weak braking problem. Inquired for help, and let's just say their reply was pretty useless.

I'm having issues with fluid leaking at the front line adapter, any suggestions?

Did you notice difference once it was all set up?
How do you like a year after installing it?

So in order to bleed the valve you have to screw it in all the way

So with your factory proportion valve there wasn't a lot of power going to the rear? And then with the wilwood proportion valve you was able to get more pressure to the rear is that correct?
