Man, one of my favorite movies based on true events, right along side the story of Winter the Dolphin... helluva contrast between those two. One about the best parts of humans, the other about the worst parts of humans.
Side note: this climax was such an adrenaline rush. I never thought the sound of plane engines would make me feel so calm.😅

Funfact: The German government in Bonn, the German Embassy in Chile, Paul Schäfer, his cult the Colonia Dignidad, his religios mission in Siegburg and Augusto Pinochet with his Junta, did really worked together on this way, to avoid fleeing people from the Colonia Dignidad and from the Chilean Dictatorship, from 1961 until the 1980s. An important sidenote, that the Lufthansa 723 flying to Frankfurt is much better, than they would fly to Cologn/Bonn Airport. Near from Cologne/Bonn Airport, in Siegburg, Lindlar and Southeast of Cologne live many supporters of Paul Schäfer and his Colonia Dignidad until today.

I feel so bad for people who couldn't escape and had to stay in that regime, until it was dismantled. Especially people who tried to escape, but got caught. I've heard only 5 people managed to escape and no more.
