The part where the scene just cuts to Aslan and you see his fur blowing in the wind and the background, truly captures Aslan's majesty

I like the way eustice feels a shame of what he is, then suddenly aslan turns him back to human, that's what Jesus does to us, He cleans us instead of punishing us

This reminds me of spirited away where Haku also turns into a dragon

I love how Aslan changes Eustace the way Jesus changes others.

In the book there were several layers Aslan tore through. And he literally tore the scales off him.

They should've kept the gold bracelet on the dragon's arm. It was an important symbol of Eustace's sin(s). He was wearing it before he transformed into a dragon, so it was stuck deep in his arm, causing him tremendous pain the entire time. And he could never remove it. On the worst night of his suffering is when Aslan appears to him.

I love this more than in the book! Aslan does ask him to follow him in the book

0:03 Dragons usually look menacing, but Eustace didn’t mean to turn into this form, and he takes on more of a young adolescent dragon’s form that an adult’s, because that’s what he was. Ustace was learning things from the perspective of things other than himself; he hated “beasts”, he hated mythical creatures; now he sees things from the perspective of one. So good. Well done Fox.

The digital effects are amazing in this scene. The detail they put into him opening his eyes and seeing Aslan for the first time. This scene was really good. I have not read the books but I still enjoyed this movie.

In the book, Aslan ripped his dragon flesh off him at the bottom of a well. Eustace described it as incredible painful, and then strangely pleasurable, like scratching an itch. I would’ve liked to see a more faithful film adaptation, but I understand why they made it this way for theaters.
