I have not celebrated Halloween since I was almost 21 (1981), when I learned the truth about it and how wicked it is. The Baptist church I grew up in never taught about this -- they actually celebrated it (as do many churches). I never let my 2 kids celebrate it growing up. They are now 34, 38 and thankful that I took that stance.
True followers of Christ should not have anything to do with Halloween or any pagan / satanic holidays. We are to be light and salt, not walk hand-in-hand with the world.

Despite being raised with Christian principles, I grew up thinking Halloween was just good harmless fun. Now that I understand the historical parallels between this date and pagan worship, as well as noticing the increasingly demonic horror movies that seemed to be celebrating evil that were released in reverence to this date, I refuse to participate in any celebration of this time of year. I truly believe we are inviting evil spirits into our homes when we do this. May our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, bless everyone with discerning eyes to see and ears to hear to recognize the evil that is being invited into our families and lives through these allegedly harmless pagan festivities.
