If your LiftMaster MyQ is not connecting to WiFi after any changes to your home WiFi network, then this simple fix of resetting the MyQ to erase all previous WiFi setting will get you back online.
It was pretty frustrating for me before I figured it out.

Thank you, I was frustrated for 2 days going up and down the stairs, unplugging the garage door, resetting my router, changing WiFi names, EVERYTHING!!! What a big sigh of relief to see it work now!

Bless you! I spent at least 2 hours over 2 days going back & forth with the MyQ & LiftMaster instructions. As you said, the instructions they provided were not specific enough. They tell you to hold the black button about 3 seconds until you hear a beep - WRONG! As you stated, you need to hold the button at least 6 seconds & UNTIL ALL LIGHTS ARE NO LONGER LIT. Thank You!

I just bought a house with 2 Chamberlain MyQ openers. It was driving me crazy since it could never find any Wifi at all. Your video fixed my issue. Thank you.

ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! I spent hours (YES HOURS!) going back and forth between tp-link, frontier, and Liftmaster. No one could get my opener to connect. After all that, with your one video, in seconds I was connected. THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU ARE THE MAN!!
Oh, and one other thing, I haven't been able to connect for 3 years because I thought my signal was to weak from my supplied modem router. So I got a much better one of my own (TP-Link) and thought the problem was solved. So as you can see your video just solved years of frustration. Again, thank you so much.

All afternoon in addition to the previous 8 days offline after adding a new router, I watched your explanation and after 90 seconds after resetting it brought my new router name and I entered my password. I was finally able to put my ladder away! I can’t thank you enough, Amer!

Amazing that they don’t include this in the app directions; I don’t know how many attempts with the yellow button I tried (the manual method shown in the app) before getting too frustrated and leaving it for months later.

Repeat 3-4x and I finally decided just to google it. Thank you!

Tried connecting most of the day with no success. Right before I went to bed I typed the issue in YT and your vid was the first to populate.

I initially got my LiftMaster MyQ connected and then changed my wi-fi network password. I wasn't able to reconnect even after following instructions. After watching this video, everything is connected and working as it should! Thanks for the fix!!!

Being a systems programmer, I found an easier solution.

My one MyQ garage door opener would not connect after we experienced a power outage. The light on the back of the unit was blinking (as the video shows).
So rather than reset it to the factory settings by pushing in the button, I simple unplugged the garage door motor, waited about 30 seconds and then plugged it back in. This would allow it to go through it's boot-up and diagnostics [once again]. It worked. Now I can open and close the door from my iPhone.

More tech stuff if you're interested: After obtaining a new Verizon router for home, I renamed the router to what I had before with the same password. This is done by going into the Administrator settings (real easy) BEFORE connecting it to my home network (aka: plugging the ethernet cable into the back of the router). This rename was done so my two dozen WiFi device would not have to be reconfigured to the new name and password. The devices would "think" they're simply re-connecting to the same network router, as before.
