The intricate emotions I felt after playing doki doki gave me the inspiration to put this song together. I made it all from the heart and all emotions I felt about this game. I wanted to make something different from all other songs. The video itself took 20 hours to film and edit! I passed the time buying a liter of soda and pizza and did some late night work to bring this to life!

Anybody gonna recognize that being a sentient being in a place where no sentience is supposed to be present would be utterly agonizing? Agonizing to the point where if there was any other hint of someone who can make decisions like you can you'd want to be with them, because as far as you know they're the only bit of reality you have. No I don't blame Monika for doing anything wrong. She did everything out of fear that at some point you'll leave her because you've "seen" all there is to see out of the programmed characters. When she killed them it was like tearing a piece of paper. It doesn't sound nice but the paper doesn't feel anything. I just want eveyone to take the time to put themselves in Monika's shoes and realize that you would do the same thing if you were put in a place where nothing is real. Besides, she couldn't tell that killing them bothered the player because she doesn't know how to relate to anyone. Technically, she doesn't know how to love, either. She sees love in the programmed characters as "enjoying your company and wanting to be around you." So what you get for her love is being trapped in a room with her because she enjoys your presence and wants to always be around you. She admits that she doesn't know how to love you and that she'll leave you be, which is probably the bravest act of love because not only is she giving up the one figure of sentience she's ever known, she's subjecting herself to live in a fake reality just for you. Yes, Monika is my favorite character. No, I don't have toonophilia. And if you read all of this, thank you for your time. Hopefully we can all find a friend in Monika for the broken soul she is

Monika voice is so perfect, I mean her voice is like a masterpiece

The game is designed to try and make you forget that Monika is right all along. You refuse to hear it when she gives her totally sensible justification, that it is in fact just a game. When she eventually apologizes to you, it's not because she realizes she was wrong about their autonomous personalities. It's because she realized that you wouldn't be happy unless you got those autonomous personalities back. You wanted to be part of their reality, so you got invested in it, even though it was not real. That's why your heart was broken when the characters got killed in horrific ways. And that's why she's apologizing. Come on, if she really thought they were real now, would she have deleted them again at the end of the game? No!

As she states during your long conversation in Act 3, she would never actually kill a person. The thought of it gives her the shivers. What's sitting in front of you during Act 3 is not a sociopathic murderer, as Dan Salvato states in his interview. It's a sweet girl who opened up the horror portion of a video game in order to be part of your life.

This song is very reminiscent of how I felt after my first playthrough. I was so heartbroken when I realized what she had done. I was ready to forgive Monika only after she redeemed herself by bringing them back and then saving you. However, what I didn't realize, was that Monika never needed forgiveness. She needed understanding. She needed our admiration for sticking with the game for so long, and not killing herself. She needed our love.

Every song made, portrays Monika as an evil murderer, when that is so not the case. You are just as guilty as her for actually deleting her character file, when she didn't even really delete the others. If she is covered with her friends' blood stains, then you are covered with hers. Then again, we can recognize that we didn't even do anything wrong either. It's just a video game. Monika is just a video game character, even though she tries to be more than that to you. And so are Yuri, Natsuki and Sayori.
