Okay. This is completely off the subject but in part of the video you show a book called The Story of Ping. Wow. I remember reading that book back in elementary school. I haven't thought of that book since way back when. It sure brought back memories. Not RAM memory but personal memory. haha.

First of all, thank you for these videos! Secondly, and not related to the A+ cert...just curious, is Rodney McKay a reference to Stargate Atlantis?

When I used tracert on 8.8.8.8 it yields 12 hops but when 8.8.8.8 is pinged I get a TTL of 54. I was expecting a TTL of 52 since I thought the maximum TTL was supposed to be 64 and reduced by one for every hop?
