Why everyone outside of mining thinks that the cards will be dumped?
Nope, not at all, maybe like 5% of the miners at most will dump their cards for some unique reasons.
And those few % will quickly get sucked up back by other miners (because gamers were told mining cards are broken and they won't buy it).

One thing you should always keep in mind, NVIDIA is a master of AI and deep learning, some people even call them "SKYNET". They definitely have in house, a super-computer, capable of analyzing the crypto-market, the GPU market and the world economical market for potential signs of market booms/crashes :)
NVIDIA is definitely playing a master plan here, i think they have clear indication of when the GPU market could potentially crash.

Honestly, Nvidia is a d*ck for many years. AMD was making every tech what they developed open-source and Nvidia? No comment. Nvidia tried to make AMD irrelevant for so many years. BUT it was always a fight with AMD, not affecting us too much but now.. if they do what Tom says.. well... Bye bye Nvidia, you won't see any money from me ever period.



I'm really happy that Valve and AMD are making Proton. With FSR support for every single game on steam ppl can play some AAA games with 30fps on integrated graphics. Now I can skip all the Nvidia and Microsoft BS and switch to Linux.

We can hope that Intel have made a middle good card that we can use, and that they dont set the price sky high.
For like 2-3 weeks ago we had 3060 cards in every store, but now for the last 1 ½ week everyting is gone. Only some super high price 3060ti are left.

If nvidia really think that if miners dump their GPUs due to eth pos, and it will impact their gpu sale, then why they introduced LHR ? I'm not getting it...
My view is nvidia came to know that intel will not make any lhr GPUs so nvidia now want to start making non lhr production again so they halt the lhr production

This is super horrible for a new miner such as myself, just started in July, and I do enjoy a good game and can't run some games at full on my 5600xt and would like to get a better card for that as well, only thing we can hope for is AMD and Intel come and sweep the market with nvidia's bad decision, but yet there is still a shortage of materials. Miners will dump gpus once eth becomes PoS ----> Lamest excuse. If anything, old Radeon RX and 4GB cards will be abundantly available. Gaming from 1080p to 2k to 4k to 8k and everything back to 1080p now...🤣

I fawkin HATE Nvidia....and not that Intel is really any better but I hope they take a big slice of Nvidia's pie.
The FUD attached to the ETH move to POS is getting dumb....we will just see a reduction in yield of about 60% and it will still be profitable on stuff like an old RX580 even with the current value....the crypto market itself will not see the same bear market as before as adoption is really scaling unlike the 2017-18 era....
I will not sell my rigs....matter of fact I am buying more because of the loss in yield that's coming...my 2 cents...take it for what it's worth lol
