NATO is preparing to defend itself from Russia

NATO prohibits Poland from shooting down Russian missiles flying towards its territory. Although, according to the Constitution, the country is obliged to do so. This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, The Times reports. According to the publication's columnist Edward Lucas, NATO member states bordering Russia expect a firmer position from the United States. At the same time, the eastern flank of the Alliance is preparing to defend itself against Russian aggression.
