Here we go again. It's that time to start building your reference image for Windows 10. This video is a long one, but it's jam packed with everything you need to get yourself up and running with MDT 2013, deploy applications, get Windows Updates from WSUS, capture your deployment for later and automate your deployment by 95%.

I deployed Win10 to 30 PC's in my office via MDT and had no errors. Don't put any apps in your image that can only live in the users profile... This mostly means Google Chrome, if you plan to use this, get the MSI version.

Followed the directions (or so i thought) but after the installation the PC reboots and does not run the post install tasks (sysprep and image capture). what did i miss?

I am updating a .WIM file, after successfully updating the file is captured as a new .WIM but it then fails to install on the MDT portion of "Installing OS". I am stuck and can't figure it out...

How can a Windows 10 installation (1809) with installed applications be imaged for subsequent deployment.
Aomei Backupper and similar tools have been useful.
However what network based deployment can do what those apps can do.

Thank you for all your videos, very well done, question for you; when I capture an image from a target machine, MDT or the target machine reinstalls after the wim file is created. After the wim is created, the target machine reboots and starts if it was a new install and I also lose some of my settings, any idea why? Thank yo so much.

hi there. I used the MDT 2013 update 2 and follow steps exactly as seen on your video; for some reason, I have too many issues when doing the reference images. Below are the errors. If you please can help, I will be very much appreciated. no answer file could be foundfailure (Err): 53 copy file c:\minint\unatendxml to - file not foundfailure (5627): 2: Run DISM.exethere are much more errors. I am sorry that could not copy and paste.

Couple of questions for you. 1.) Why doesn't my capture or image process not display % completed or time remaining? 2. When I attempt to capture a customized Win10 image it always gets stuck at "Processing generalize phase Sysprep plugins..." it will stay on this screen for hours, do you know what causes that?

In WDS do you also put in the install image too or just the boot images?

Hi Bernard, thank you for your tutorials on MDT 2013. i have been tasked to deploy windows 10 enterprise. everything is working fine except for 1 thing. Network discovery and print/file sharing appear to be disabled. is there a way to enable them using the unattend.xml file?
