I found that the vertical adjustment screw is on the top of the hinge and doesn't adjust anything. Does this mean my door came with the wrong hinge attached?

My French doors installed easily and with nearly perfect gaps but as time went on the main pass door settled onto the sill. I adjusted with the center hinge to its maximum upward thrust but 2 days later it was dragging again. I measured the door from corner to corner in both directions and found the door out of square by 5/8ths of an inch. It has now passed an inch and is unusable. It's sad. I surprised my daughter with this junk. Having it installed in her new home.
