That's the grandiose narc. Vulnerable/ covert/ victim Narcs hunch their shoulders and try to look as much as possible like the biggest victim ever.

i walk like that because i want to have good posture and i live in a major city where if you walk slow you get trampled. i avoid eye contact because that’s how people try to pull you in and hustle you.

Hahahaha. I lived with a covert narcissist for 4 years. He use to always leave me behind in the grocery store. He walked exactly like this. I have done a ton of research about narcs, but this is the first time I've ever heard anyone mention their WALK. Nice explanation. Appreciate this.

Mine did this but when he walked ahead he would wander off or hide. He loved having us looking for him.

Lol I walk like this because I’m an introvert and don’t want to speak to anyone (anxiety) so I try to look busy by walking fast and looking down at my phone

Wow! I only this past year realized that my mom is a narcissist. I always knew something was wrong but pinned it down after watching a video that described a narcissist parent. Now this walk is exactly how my mom walks. As a child I had to practically run to keep up with her and she would get infuriated if I didn't stay by her because that meant she would have to pay more attention to me.

Vulnerable narcissist walk completely different. They seem so weird and insecure it actually transfer to you. They're so concerned with what others think about them, it shows and transfer to you.

I always walked behind. Of course he was 5'10" and I'm 5'2" (shorter legs). But my narc was constantly making eye contact and smiling at other women. It infuriated me. After 42 years, I'm glad I don't have to deal with that anymore.
