Germany closes borders to 'get tough on migration'

“This was a bit of a big bang when it happened yesterday.”

Following terror and knife attacks, Germany has put temporary border controls in place on all of its land borders, and plans to start rejecting migrants at the border. This could lead to a “domino effect” that would be “detrimental to European migration policy and European cohesion in general, says Nick Alipour.

Why is "migrant" now a PC term for "immigrant"?
Migrant can refer to those entering and leaving. Germany's measures only apply to those entering.

It's just not realistic of the EU to expect countries to accomodate that sort of population growth for a decade and not be overwhelmed especially with an increase in violent crime and lack of resources to house and feed and care for everyone like a building has a maximum capacity so does a country.

The AFD have only gone up in the polls due to our political leaders ignoring the voting public on this issue, we did not want masses of unskilled economic migrants from wholly incompatible cultures, the problems with this is shown clearly in the social problems communities have experienced as a result, such as massive increases in violent crime, rapes etc. Look at the disaster in Sweden as an obvious example. The liberal elite political class have only started to wake up once their own cozy jobs may be threatened which just shows where their own priorities are in respect of duty to serve in the public interest. The migrant scam has been a money making venture all along with no real interest in stopping the gravy train. Vested interests in politics, religious institutions, NGO's and migrant law firms, who actually facilitate the mass movement of migrants, get to clip the ticket all through the migrant process, making themselves loads of cash out of the taxpayer pockets, all under the guise of humanitarianism.

Germany is not closing its borders, it is just controlling them more tightly, just as other nations in the Schengen area are doing like the Danes, Swedes, Austrians, Slovenians and French.

We've had those controls before on a temporary basis... I passed them many times, always got waved past with local plates. From what I saw, types of cars and people they stopped, I can support the migration angle. They never showed any interest in me at all...
