I thought the messages between the two 'Arach brothers were very sad... I was low-key following their story as I played, and was hoping the brother siding with the Covenant (Kitun) would defect and reunite with his brother in the Swords of Sanghelios (Jacul). I was actually saddened when I found the recording by Kitun where he confessed to killing his brother during the Battle of Sunaion.
It reminds me of the "Brothers" statue at the Korean War Museum, which depicts two brothers on both sides of the war, one fighting for the North and one for the South.

20:08 is the coolest callback ever. The fact that those words hit Thel that hard, and the fact that it's only implied here, is such a cool detail. It makes me smile every time I hear it :)

20:03 I like how The Arbiter said this enough for the Sangheili to identify this quote with him. Especially considering he had heard it from Lord Hood. It really shows how he’s begun to think about the relationship between humans and Sangheili.
