Glad to see someone that understands why we shouldn’t have targets for targets sake. Shame companies only want kpis that target an improvement without knowing what the true impact of individual improvements actually are.

totally agree ... KPI's deliver a result .. however, it can't explain how it has been delivered, and therefore they could generate risks if hiding the reaching mechanism.

I would say that a measure is a combination of KPIs.
