FILM DESCRIPTION:
Adventures from deep space to futuristic New York, and beyond. Each world and story is dominated by the presence of the Loch'nar -- the sum of all evils manifest as a glowing green sphere whose power infects all times, all galaxies, all dimensions. To some, it appears as treasure, a green jewel they must possess. Others worship it as a god. Few escape it. Even in death and through death its powers continue. From war to war and world to world it seems invincible.

Adult Animated TV shows and Movies with Heavy Metal's quality are really lacking nowadays. Most people nowadays would kill for something animated like this instead of a sea of garbage Family Guy or Rick & Morty clones. Just imagine if we got more content with this level of detail put into it if only people would stop associating Adult Animation as being nothing more than edgy humor for the sake of edgy humor and cheap animation. We could really use something to rival the animation quality and tone of Heavy Metal or Akira.

You can tell they but a lot of work into animating this, especially the shots where they're moving forward.

A friend of mines uncle snuck a video camera into the theater back when this first released. So we saw a bootleg back in like 87. I waited for it to have a real release but that didn't happen for what another 10 years. Then fakk2 was a let down. The original heavy metal is still the superior. My friend also had a bunch of the heavy metal magazines so I actually read the original stories the movie was based on. And the movie is pretty spot on accurate. The locnar was made up as a way to stitch together all the unrelated stories so other than that the difference stories are pretty much the same as the comics

So the engineers are designing and building this massive machine to do god knows what and they have to leave room for the boobie pool. It seems like one or the other should have been relocated. I’m just imagining the construction crew cooling off in that fountain.
