That's the swing that gives me better contact because it's shorter & easier to repeat, although I don't use it with driver. You sir are a madman! Keep up the good work.

Aha. I’ve been trying to shorten my backswing. I’m 73. I can now see that when I try to hit a 5 iron with a reduced backswing (AND follow through too) I hit that damn 5 iron further than my 2-wood! I hate golf.

Honestly its amateurs getting to position conscious in a golf motion. They take away any fluidity in a swing by micro managing a million positions. Once you micro manage you slam the breaks on a club naturally moving to not cast. You cant play golf by manufacturing moves and tilts. But you can play by applying speed at the right times. All you need is an end point not a beginning
