The IQ of that chop cannot be overlooked. That does not work if the defenders feet are moving to the outside, since bedard begs him to stick check middle. it forces the defensemen to lift his stick and die middle, now bedard got all day outside. Defenseman now chasing back to the outside, it’s Textbook, now the 3rd trail can split the defense and it’s an easy 3om 2 opportunity
