The plates overlap that way is for protection against spear attacks while on horseback. The spear tip will slide up instade of catching on one of the plates and going in between the gaps.

The half moon on the head means “they’re controlled by their emotions.” It scared others, since it was believed that nobody wants to fight a very emotionally angry person. 🙌

The mouth on the armor lines up so perfectly that it makes the wearer look like it’s his 😂 this is awesome though.

After spending alot of time on ghost of tsushima i must admit this armor looks 100% like one from game. Its impressive how much tought they put in
