I'm from Flint and still refuse to drink the water from the tap. Bottled water for me only. We still haven't been paid a dime yet from the settlement, however the lawyers already have been and took 33% of the payout. This year it's been 10yrs since the crisis

I drank upwards of a gallon a day of tap water up until about 8 years ago. Horrible pain, go to the ER, fetal position on floor and doctor says kidney stone. What do you drink, nothing but tap water…county water from calcium rich aquifers. That’s what did it

I remember trying to drink a cup of water at my friends place in Kensington, but my throat literally closed up and my body wouldn’t let me drink it!
It was such a crazy experience and when I told my friend, he said “oh, sorry mate, forgot to tell ya not to drink the tap water”, because it is extremely high in crap due to the piping system being so old and saturated in minerals and waste products built up, and recently 8” diameter pipes only having an average of a 4-5” diameter space. The entire pipeline infrastructure needs replacing but the government doesn’t want to foot the cost of it.

So now I only drink water filtered first and take showers/baths in the tears of babies to be safe…dang it is so expensive
