I got this book as a Christmas gift, and I just finished reading (was reading other books on my list first), and I loved it! I couldn't put it down. It was so cozy and cute and made me so happy to read it. I don't usually read books like this, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I would read this again, and I plan to get Bookshops and Bone Dust next.

Good book, fun read. The (later) edition has a bonus prelude story, and a second book is out in late 2023.

I enjoy the first part of the novel as skillfully written fluff that was a nice change from heavy reading. Then it flipped into being a romance novel and I gave it up. Just know it shifts gears part of the way through before taking it up.
