I read this one because a few people on a Discord channel were asking if anyone had read it and I was very happy that I did, as it had all of the elements of a good fantasy novel without the massive investment and also knowing that Travis Baldree wrote this book whilst participating in NaNoWriMo was another big draw, as I always like to support writers that have found some measure of success through that program

Great review Johanna, i finished this yesterday and absolutely loved it. I picked this up also on a whim and decided to make an event of it and started a buddy read on the channel. I read it through KU but I also decided to pick up a physical copy. Its very reminiscent of Discworld for me, the light hearted stand alone fantasy that is in a fantastic world.
