Look at who is now the chief of staff for 343 or halo studios now, halo is dead and its identity with it, these are activists not game developers, they themselves say they hate us gamers who dont accept their them going to unreal engine just screams the fact that they dont have the in house talent to manage or create a new engine.

Between Halo: CE being one of my first games, re-playing the MCC a couple months ago, and playing Infinite, I really enjoy all of the games a lot. I still don't understand exactly what people don't like.

They tried it hurt them but at least they understood it and didnt double down and instead went to a well know more fleshed out engine along with shifting focus this is bound to revive halo to a better standard i cant say much for better writing

There is no point as a big studio to make and mentain your own engine you wont ever get close to what Unreal can do the only other engine thats realy insane is Valve Source Engine😊
