Honestly, thanks to Bobby and a couple other Youtubers like Steven Bancarz, I am leaving this New Age stuff behind cold turkey. It always rubbed me the wrong way although I had good intentions. I have accepted that Jesus is Lord and I have been repenting nonstop for the last day. Already, there has been a change in my energy. There is a calmness in me and a love that I haven’t felt in a long time. These new age practices left me empty, anxious, and depressed. Makes sense, being that they are Satanism repacked to be more marketable. Thank God I didn’t go off the deep end though 🙏🏽 God bless you all.

Just have to say, you have SUCH a supportive community, Bobby. It's so heartwarming to read through the comments on here. First you go from vegan to carnivore and people support you, no matter what their own diets are. Now you become a christian and people support you, no matter what their own faith is. And even the few people who do leave, they're respectful and friendly. It's such a massive difference, comparing it to some of these ex-vegans who get nothing but hate.

It’s so nice to see someone in this age not against God and not shaming Christians. I know there are some who misrepresent God, but not all Christians follow that path. It’s nice to see someone finding God and sharing it on a mainstream platform.

I too was once on this “path to enlightenment” and I genuinely believe I opened myself up to a lot of demons. My life just became worse and my depression got worse. I always thought I wasn’t manifesting hard enough or that I just needed to be more positive and I would attract more positive things into my life. For close to 8 years I had this mindset and I have nothing to show for it. Nothing. I surrendered myself to him 100% and it’s an indescribable feeling. I have never felt such pure joy and happiness and love. Looking back I can now see how he tried for so long for me to see Him but I was so blinded and closed off. Once you feel him you cannot go back!

I went through the same thing as you except I was into astrology hardcore. It seemed so innocent at the time, and found it's actually one of the worst kinds of divination you can get into. It's not that it didnt work, it did when I got deeper and deeper into it. I got severe sleep paralysis during and thought nothing of it. I had to repent to Lord Jesus Christ and never look back to make it stop when it got severe. Which was very hard, I had a huge ego with it because i was so good at it and it made me feel special, but his power is always greater. Keep doing what you are doing, not many are brave enough to speak faithfully anymore.

The Jesus prayer is a true gift to humanity, as great as any eastern meditation. It is truly the prayer of the heart. Traditional Christianity is very deep and mystical, and a complete way of life.

That said, I do think Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism, Shamanism, etc. have plenty of things to teach humanity. Whenever a human being seek God in humility, God will try to reach him/her. So I think we as Christians, should respect the wisdom of other paths. Certainly be discerning, but don’t be a close minded asshole either.

I have physically felt God's presence more and more in my meditations and in my life. It has always been my main goal, so it's exciting for me. I'm not entirely sure about any religion though. I read texts from many religions on a regular basis. The bible is VERY out there! A lot of crazy shit in there. Plus there are rules/guildines that I don't see many (western) Christians actually following...For example, No rights for rape victims (the rapist just pays the father & marries her), women are not meant to work outside of the home, are supposed to wear a head covering, women are not supposed to speak in church, etc. I'm no feminist, but i just find it interesting that if someone is Christian, and really believes in the bible, shouldn't they follow what it says?
