A couple things from a fellow gaming laptop owner: 1. You need to play with battery plugged in 2. It's the first time the laptop is playing fn so it needs to adjust to it. 3. opitimaztions need to have certain settings enabled and disabled.

I own the exact laptop and as a laptop owner, i have 3 things to say:

1. Play with the charger plugged in to get better performance

2. Use a seperate keyboard so u dont damage the laptop one.

3. Buy a cooler stand so it doesnt overheat.

The main problem is U didnt plug in the Laptop.When playing a game u must plug the lap so that it can reach the MAX potential of the laptop.Second is the ram.Just add another 8gn and you are good to go.Even without 16gigs of ram 8gb ram can fortnite with the lap plugged in.HOPE IT HELPS!

Here is clarification for why vermax fps was so low 1 wrong epic games settings 2 charger might have not been plugged in or it’s charging 3 ram laptop screen 4 recording 5 brand new has to load everything overall this laptop could get 200 fps stable if done correctly

It's only red blacklight lights on the keyboard. I have this same Nitro 5 I bought in 2020 with i5 10300H, gtx 1650, and I upgraded it to 32gb. It's still working pretty good. But I already have a good laptop which is a Acer Predator Helios Neo 16: i7, RTX 4060, with 16gb, 165hz. The Nitro 5 I am giving it to my cousin and it will work for her pretty well.

I used to have the same laptop and it honestly ran smoothly for me. The only reason I upgraded was because I had the option to get a pc for free (getting a pc is always the best option because of upgrade ability).

If you plugged in the Charger you can get around 200 FPS in creative and around 80-120 in game with less frame drops.

bruh I have the same laptop and I get 500 fps in creative. you are playing with this laptop without it being plugged in.... A gaming laptop needs to be plugged in to reach its performance. if you didnt know that then I dont know why you made this video...

Yep there are 2 DDR4 RAM slots, so RAM is upgradable. I don't think its worth $600-$700 for only i5 CPU. Would only buy it during black Friday/holiday season where the price drops by like 200-300, but at that point why not buy the i7 with RTX 4050 and 16 GB duel channel RAM for around $500-$700 during black friday.

im using the laptop you reviewed in the video currently, I think you have the updated model which still has the same gpu and cpu but the older gen of the laptop has 16 gb of ram.

Can you show us the cpu, gpu and ram usage during the game? 8gb of ram is recommended for fortnite, and you have an unplugged 10th gen i5. The problem might be the cpu since you're not charging the laptop, making it throttle itself for longer battery life.

First things you need to remember.
Refresh rate of screen locked to 60 herz when power isnt connected
Second things: cpu goes to power save mode neutralizing power consumption and performance downgrade.

back in 2022 I got the model that has a 3050 TI and 5800h and if you do a bit of optimization so you can get solid 240fps in br well recording :]

I have and older acer nitro 5. It craps out fast. Not worth ir whatsoever. Just buy a $450 pc and upgrade it. Trust me, its a better investment. It also only ran like 70 ish fps and 100 if your lucky in creative

Fortnite is mainly a cpu game, so a 10th gen cpu with no charger plugged in really limits the performance. A msi gf65 thin with a 1660ti ( very similar performance) is around $400 on eBay anyway. For this small of a budget, you always want to buy used.
