I'm 70 and feel like a kid, and how I wish my kids and every generation that didn't grow up hearing them so fresh and so new and so, so ... Beatles ... could experience what it was like. My dad was 75 and at a party in Monaco. My stepmother saw him speaking with a man and laughing it up. After their conversation was over my stepmother asked my dad who he was speaking to. He said, “a really nice guy, said his name was Richard Starkey”! She turned around to find him at the party and sure enough it was Ringo Starr!

The three latter songs Andrew referred to are decidedly some of my favorites. (Thank you Peter Fonda for inspiring "She Said, She Said"). Many of The Beatles earlier songs, were simply too short (IMHO), such as "It's Only Love". But John knew what he wanted to say and did so, beautifully.
