Got unreasonably angry when you managed to land on top of the Charger with the jump pack and shot between its head and back plates only for the rounds to bounce off. They need to add that weak spot asap.

All I have learned from these videos and from playing the game is that no 2 chargers are alike and it's very inconsistent. E.A.T is the way to go, but a face shot still doesn't register as a face shot sometimes.

Its been said by the devs the line you see on the Railgun that you say is 90%, is actually 100% charge. the rest is the "safe" margin before the gun explodes.

Grenade Launcher is weird, sometimes ill 3 tap a charger and other times ill dump 2 full mags and do nothing...

Heads up, with the Arc Thrower, you can be wayyyy further away than the distance you were at 0:24. You can kill a charger before it even reaches you, and I believe I've killed a couple outside their detection range as well. Arc Thrower has a surprising range, given you just aim slightly higher.

As a autocannon enjoyed in my experience the reason it's sometimes more is if you hit the top of the caboose. It seems to be more armored or not the same hit box.

I still believe nerfing the railgun was premature on Arrowhead's part. There aren't enough dedicated heavy support weapons as it is. Railgun was meta because it gave you more options for loadouts and could take on everything from heavy and below. I mean it does good in a vacuum environment like this but, in most applications while being swarmed or shot at taking that extra 2 seconds to charge to 90% and aim properly just makes it less efficient. As it stands it's better just bring a recoil-less or EAT17. I mean it even shows they screwed up because after "balancing" the railgun they had to then balance heavy spawn rates, get rid of the glancing damage reduction for EAT's and recoil-less, and then reduce charger hp to head. They really should have just waiting until the brought more heavy support weapons in.

Yeah, at this point, what's the point of a railgun when almost all other AT weapons or even arc thrower will do the job better, faster and without the risk of you getting yourself blown up. On top of that, the railgun is completely useless against bile titans, since the fact that it needs 15+ shots to kill one of them must be some kind of joke made by the developers (not counting the ps5 bug, of course).

Its likely the railgun was over penitrating the front let and hitting the back leg. That may have been what was causing the in consistencies with the testing.

The one update that I want them to make to the chargers is their turn radius!!! They turn on a dime! Is nuts.

Rear leg shots with medium-ish penetration weapons seem very dependent on animation bug of charger.

If you can get a decent ttk on the rear, just go for rear.

I remember how i initially reacted to chargers, and now seeing how many different ways you can shred them, i couldn't be happier lol

On Helldivers 1, we have Tank and Behemoth "Chargers" both are almost similar, but It also has a armour on the back and has more HP.

I hope that in the future the version of Behemoth will mutate and look more like its HD1 version

with the arc thrower you get a quicker kill if you do 1 full charged shot on the head and then spam half charged shots.

I think the leg knees count as a weakspot so when you hit higher on the legs you deal more damage. I think that's why the autocannon backleg method needs to hit close to the knee. Might explain some of the leg two-shot railgun kills.
