I had no idea that there was such a thing. Damn! That is a big deal for a student. Really tempted to start prepping for an MBA in Germany now🙂

To all the lovely people who come here to study =).
I hope you all will get the degree of your dreams, but this system only works out, if you guys stay and work for a couple of years.
The tax that you will pay during that time will more or less cover the cost =)

It depends on the University. I study at Hochschule Stralsund and they don't offer semester tickets!

what's the difference does it make for these 2 people? one who is completed BTech/BE from India having some experience in India & wants to do job in Germany & on the other hand somebody is doing MS in Germany & then get a job there ?

Semester fee is including the public transportation fee so it's not free
