I LOVE these cookies. All the ladies/girls in our family get together the Saturday before Christmas for a cookie baking party. I found this recipe 3 or 4 years ago here. I made up my cookie dough and chilled it overnight, then took it to our party, sliced and baked... and they were such a hit that I get asked to make them every year now!

Made these with walnuts instead of pistachios and reduce sugar to 110 gm. Everyone loved it and asked me for the recipe. Thank you for sharing your recipe and clear instructions. Been following your channel for many years.

Joy of Baking  OMG! Thank you so so much cause your recipes always work perfectly with me. I baked it today and I replaced the cranberry with some mix non salted nuts. Also, I just made the have of the ingrediants. They were so yummy and crispy. I'm going home this Christmas and I will make it for my mom but I will replace the dry cranberry with dry apple because it is my mom's favorite fruit. This is a delicious cookie. I could not find shelled, unsalted pistachios so used the salted. They turned out great. Will be giving them for Christmas.

Another great idea with will make festive Christmas gifts wrapped in the cute bakers cellophane wrap you can buy on line. These cookies would be expensive to buy in a store! Can't wait to try them out, myself! Thanks for another great idea ;)
