The reason why I have admired to be a priest is because of those beautiful words on St. John's gospel . I was born in a Muslim society, studied in Muslim school but I have always wanted to be a Catholic I refused to be converted.
I did philosophy but I couldn't finish my theology due to other logistics. But I'm optimistic about this journey of becoming a Catholic Priest. So help me God.

I am well educated in theology, and was an active, hungry for TRUTH Protestant. After several years of research and uncovering the numerous LIES Protestants tell about the Catholic faith, I became a Catholic. Going through RCIA, and classes in order to teach in the Catholic Church. This alone made great sense to me. So, even if you’re “called” to teach, you must demonstrate your dedication through tough theology classes and criminal background checks. I am now excited to belong to the oldest church on Earth but the church Christ appointed! Thank you Jesus for leading me home to the Catholic Church!!

The verses in John 20 have a note in my Bible saying, "Do we have power to forgive sins?" I'm Protestant currently, but I've been wondering about those verses. Catholicism just keeps making more sense to me because of your videos 😊 Thank you so much for presenting your case so well and so thoroughly!

Read the Bible 30 times. After many years of treading the Bible and seeing the “plot holes” in Protestant theology, finally converted in 2016.

In John 20:21-23, when Jesus "breathed" on the apostles, this is the second of two times the Scriptures record God "breathing" on man. The other time was in Genesis when God breathed the first breath into Adam.

I was ten years Calvary Chapel and CC Bible School. Married my wife and had three kids when we discovered the truths of the Catholic Church.

Now we have eight beautiful Catholic children and we attend the traditional Latin Mass.

There is catholic and there is Catholic. I think you will discern the difference.

7 "catholic" bible verses that prove catholicism. That's right, I'm glad you clarified. "Catholic" bible verses. Because truthfully the word catholic or pope don't even appear in the bible.

I find it funny that all these verses are taken as one off quotes outside the context of the entire letter. The funny thing is if you went above 1 Timothy 3:15 all the way back to 3:1 and proceed to verse 15 you would see the direct assault the verses has against Roman Catholic doctrines. Read the entire letters front to back not just one verse.

Hi Lizzie, I am catholic guy raised and born catholic (I live in Rome), your video are truly inspiring and refreshing! I would like to point out that the passage from the book of Revelation (which is commonly read on the 15th of August, the feast of the Assumption of Mary) is interpreted as both a representation of Mary AND the Church. Because Mary is the figure of the Church. She represents the church as it should be, in its perfect form. The Church and every christian should "give birth" to Jesus, again and again, as the Mother of God did.

Remember also our Assyrian Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox brothers. THEY split from us in the 400s--that's 1500+ years of separation from us AND the Eastern Orthodox. Miraculously in the 20th Century--even some priests and others don't know this--we resolved the Nestorian controversy and other problems and basically with our Assyrian and Oriental Orthodox brothers, we're now in whole or partial communion with them. Guess what ALL FOUR branches of orthodoxy have? Priests called Father. Things called Sacraments that include confession and absolution, marriage as a sacrament, belief that the EUcharist really is the body and blood of Christ and not just a symbol, they have Bishops going back the Twelve, Archbishops, Patriarchs, and yes even a Pope, look up Pope Shanouda of Alexandria, the Coptic Pope. THey've had all this for a thousand years bofore Luther and Calvin came along to tell them they were wrong.

This also destroys many false Narratives that Catholicism was allegedly created by Constantine. Feh, no.

I became Catholic because while I certainly had famililal reasons were I convinced it was false I would not join. I wanted to be where I thought the best claim to the original Church, and that points to only four places on Earth: Antioch, Alexandria, Constantinople, and Rome. To be honest it wasn't the papacy that ultimately swayed me, I coiuld EASILY have become Orthodox-and I still love the Orthodox so very much, and get so much inspiration from them. The Church in the West should be looking East as it continues to sort itself out after Vatican II. They are a good touchstone for us when we reform things like liturgical practice and such!

I guess you didn’t read the verse about women being silent in the church.

You are right, the Virgin Mary did not feel birth pains, but Luke 2:35 has Mary receive a prophecy from Simeon that a sword will pierce her heart, thus linking the birth pains in Revelation to the pain our Lady felt at the birth of the Church, the pain of watching her Divine Son be crucified

Hi Lizzie, I have been a Lutheran since I was a baby. But lately my heart has been falling in love with the Catholic Church. I felt more judged going to my Lutheran church but when I would go to a Catholic Church I felt at home and at peace. I am so excited to be enrolling in rcia classes. Is it possible to know that my heart and faith is with Catholicism? Love your videos. I have learned so much from you. Thank you.
