I tried this diet about a year or two ago. I lost a pound or two on the first day, but halfway through the second day, I was starving so I gave up and had pizza.

I did it for 2 months and went from 235 to 195 while still working out and the 4 days off I was eating carb free and have kept my weight off for 3 years now. I have been between 188-192 since then. I think it’s a jump start for people who just care about the number on the scale and it can help boost confidence that a change in lifestyle will result in progress towards where you want to be. I’m not saying it’s perfect I was just tired of being the “fat kid” and once I saw changes I was addicted to working out and building my body stronger

I lost 60 lbs. Just eating smaller portions and dancing and drinking water, and walking, took me one year and I'm 65 and feel so much better. But my body doesn't like peanut butter, so I watch what I eat . I just do what works for me. I'm Healthy and feel good, not on any medication. Thankyou, you taught me alot too.❤️

This really does work. It’s not always the easiest and takes time to get use to. Almost like coming down from an addiction. But it does work. You stick to it. Push. It becomes the norm and you want it no other way. I did this going through marine corps training. First few weeks I felt week. Then with the right push exercise and new balance. It was like coming out new.

ive done this diet many times over the last 5 years . ive gone from 305 pounds to 215. it works if you don't stay on it for to long at a time

I'm doing intermittent fasting with a 500 calorie deficit. I go almost 24 hours without eating, break my fast with 1 meal thats under 500 calories, then restart my fast and drinking a gallon of water throughout the day. Each day I wake up 1-2 pounds less

I love this diet, I started Sept 11, 2017 at 197 pounds and I am down to 174 ( December 21) I never lost 10 pounds in 3 days but I lost more like 3 to 4 pounds

I lost 95 pounds in 9 months so i could join the military 4 years ago using the grapefruit diet. I only had to work out once a day for 45 mins or so

This diet is good like do it for a week and you’ll
Be like holy shit I lost a lot of weight and it should motivate you to at LEAST walk and be active ride a bike and be consistent

I’ve just lost 12lb in 2 weeks just by eating 500 calories under my maintenance each day.
I’ve not felt like I’ve missed out on anything. I even had a McDonald’s once a week.

Yeah I've lost 26 pounds in 2 weeks in the military but it wasn't the diet 😂 it was 12-24 hours a day of hiking in the heat, running around in the woods, and puking my guts out while I'm wired on insane amounts of caffeine and nicotine.

Lost six lbs. in 3 days, kept it off and did another round the next week. I am 70 years old, terribly arthritic, and needed to take a little weight off my very painful knees. The anti-inflammatory nature of the diet gave me immediate relief, even before any weight loss. I was never hungry, just felt as if I could kill for an Oreo. I have no idea why it's called the Military Diet, probably because it requires a certain level of discipline. Like you, I am the child of two - count 'em - TWO Marines, so discipline is my middle name. When it came time for me to serve during the Vietnam War, I opted for something more civilized, the U.S. Air Force.
