I own a both a steel and Sedna gold speedmaster 3861 movement. Those watches along with my Kimber 1911 pistol will be heirlooms.

I am glad Rolex wanted to put me on a list. I discovered a brand with meaning that aligns to my interests. I rather the history of Omega a legacy steeped in racing and aerospace.

I had never actually seen an Omega until I bought my own, after years of arguing with myself about spending that much on "just a watch". I wish I had pulled the trigger sooner. My Aqua Terra is a work of art, and I check the time without even noting what time it is, I get lost in the dial, the details and glints of polished detail make me forget to note what time it actually is. I might have been made aware of them because of Bond, but I am firmly a lifelong Omega man now. Rolex just leaves me cold. Omega watches are warm and alive, you just can't help but touch it. I didn't take mine off for a month after I bought it. Now I feel naked without the familiar weight on my wrist. The only other watch I swap it out for these days is my Planet Ocean. I wish Omega made more "stuff", like ad posters, clothing, watch display cases, etc.
