This issue really had me tripped up for a while. I see what you are saying, but then that begs the question - why did Mathew bother to even list the genealogy, knowing that thru Jehoiachin, Jesus wouldn't have any claim to the throne due to the curse?
What is Mathew trying to prove here or tell us?
After struggling for several months and much prayer, it was a Sunday and I told God 'look, you're going to have to explain this, because I just can't get passed it'. It was effecting my like and my faith.
God kept His promise listed in James 1:5 and answered me immediately.
The answer was so perfect, that it seemed like God was 'blowing smoke' and I told Him so...
Jesus, the man, could never fulfill the Promise to David due to the curse of Jechoniah... BUT Jesus paid the price for sin and "cursed is every man that hangs upon a tree"
Jesus took the curse of sin and paid for that. In fact, His blood can wash away Every curse.
So before the cross, Jesus could not have fulfilled the promise to David, but after He wiped away the curse... curses, and rose from the dead, then AFTER the resurrection, with the curse lifted, Jesus COULD fulfill the promise to David.
I argued with God that it seemed too perfect... Jesus' blood paid for the curse of sin. God said "how powerful was/is the blood of Christ?"
It can wash away the curse of sin, but not the curse put on Jehoiachin by the propet Jeremiah?

I really appreciate people who can dig into God's word. I thank you for putting out this video.

As man, Christ could not have sinned bc He had no sin nature. Christ was absolutely impeccable, incapable of sin. The temptations were bonafide, but it was impossible for Him to sin.

The curse of the Bloodline of Jehoiachin nowhere is Mary related to David. because she is from the line of Aron, = Mary was the cousin of Elisabeth of the Daughters of Aaron. (Luke 1:5-6), (Luke1:36-38) In Luke Joseph was blood to David, if Nathan or Solomon doesn't matter. ( you have missed the real reason ), Even Jesus (Matthew 23:41-45 ) asked them if David called him lord (Psalm 110) how can he be his son? no bloodline. == But if you read this I will tell you it is simple G-D always makes it known == Shalom.
