Let's get one thing straight - as of now, only Hypersonic cruise missiles are in the arsenals of the U.S., China, and Russia. China claims its ground-to-air Hypersonic missiles have the potential to engage and destroy an F-22 when it opens its bomb doors. Additionally, it's worth noting that stealth Fighters like the F-22 are susceptible to Hypersonic heat-seekers due to their coating materials' heat-up tendencies during Mach 2 flight. In the 1980s, Hypersonic heat-seeking missiles achieved an impressive 90% kill rate against aircraft, and China is actively pursuing similar weaponry. However, the ultimate efficacy of these missiles depends on the pilot's skill and precision with evasive measures, particularly the use of flares to counter the missiles.

They don't see better. They don't turn better. They don't work better. And they don't explode better.

But people love to parade around their 'weapon to defeat X' with the most obvious of advantages or measures.

The biggest missile
The biggest plane
The longest range
The fastest missile
The fastest plane
The toughest plane.

When the actual measure that matters most, terminal maneuverability and sensor sensitivity, will get the weapon on target to perform the kill.

And the raptor is obvious at high speed.

I suspect they cruise around barely over the sound barrier, without afterburners, to keep slow, cool, hard to detect, and the moment the doors open will be the only glimpse you will get telling you where they are, which is already obvious because there's a missile departing that location coming for something you care about.

Then you have to work out where they will be when your own missile gets there.

Which is going to be a challenge for weapons systems chasing pilots who Know their only vulnerability and will jink immediately on launch to not be where you might expect

why do you have the worlds strongest weapon if you can’t aim it to your target?
Why to develop a hypersonic missile to defeat the F22 if it’s radar and heat signature is very reduced? Will your shoot a bee too?

F 22 as well as other stealth aircrafts can be spotted on radars that isn't an issue here, the PROBLEM is to track them with radar and lock them long enough to fire a missile while traying not to get blown into pieces by Anti-radiation missile, that is difficult

if you had only one F22 getting into layered SAMs covered area he would be fucked, but when you have +6-12 F22

+ B52 armed with cruise missile
+ AWACS
+ Drones

then SAMs operators are fucked, if that country doesn't have aircrafts to stand a chance against enemy forces, because SAMs alone can not defend air space
