If you've ever struggled with capturing sharp wildlife shots, this video is for you! 📸🐾

The Secret Formula:
To make sure your photos are tack sharp, you need to set your shutter speed according to your lens’s focal length. A general rule is:

Shutter Speed = 1 / Effective Focal Length

Here’s what I mean:

🦁 If you're shooting with a 50mm lens on a full-frame camera, your shutter speed should be at least 1/50th of a second.

🌿 But, if you're using a crop sensor camera (usually with a crop factor of 1.5x), you need to account for that. So, with the same 50mm lens, your shutter speed should be 1/75th of a second or faster.

By applying this simple formula, you’ll greatly reduce motion blur and get sharper wildlife images every time. 📷✨

Photography doesn't have to be overly complicated, and I'm here to break down these concepts so you can improve your skills with confidence. Hit that follow button for more tips like this!

Examples:

1️⃣ Full-frame with 100mm lens → Shutter Speed = 1/100s or faster.

2️⃣ Crop sensor with 100mm lens → Shutter Speed = 1/150s or faster.
