In this video I will explain the actual paths rays take going through a thick lens relating to the focal length, object distance, and image distance.

Video explains derivation of Newton's Lens Equation very well.

Good night, profesor. I was wondering if the focus of the image is equal to the focus of the object in every case of optic lenses, specially if the two radius are different.

I doubt that because I know the dioptre law that says that the radius is equal to th focus of the image plus the focus of the object.

Great explanations, sir.

Is this assuming the front and back effective focal length are the same?
