They are not putting aside their disagreements with Haley’s foreign policy positions for the benefit of the American people. They are putting those issues aside for the benefit of themselves when it comes to domestic policy. Trump’s domestic policy is very much tilted in the direction of the American people whereas Haley’s domestic policy is tilted in favor of corporate America.
