Another thing to look for when buying jeans is where the back pockets lay. The higher up they are the more flattering your backside looks. if they are too far down your butt looks flatter. Another good video Thomas.

Absolutely amazing channel and great video. A year ago I walked away from sugar, fast food, soda and bad carbs and quietly lost over 100 pounds. Being in my early 40s, you’re exactly what I needed to find. With the help from your channel, it’s time to start looking as good as I feel.

I lift and the best kind of fit for jeans I've found is American Eagle's Athletic Fit Air Flex. Standard Athletic Fit and Athletic Skinny. Both styles have that little extra room in the thigh and seat, soft stretch, great taper, and are around $45. I've gotten multiple compliments from friend's wives (mine too) on the fit so I know I chose wisely. I'm 190lbs 5'9" and wear a 34/32 skinny or 32/32 regular Athletic Fit.

Really don't understand the trend of wearing jeans above the ankle. It looks like you're wearing capri pants!

I have a recommendation for a video. Maybe do a breakdown of different style of jeans, depending on your age. When I was in my teens and 20s I would wear designer Jean's. Mostly Buckle and Rock Revival. In my late 30s I usually go with a nice and good fitting pair of classic Levi's. In my opinion age does matter when it comes to the style of jeans you wear. Just a suggestion.

Haven’t worn jeans in years. Kit and Ace are literally the best. Stains wash right out. Comfortable in every climate. Stretch comfort. And the list goes on.

Haven’t heard of them. Look em up

How about a video on Jean brands. Differences, pros, cons, etc. I struggle to find jeans with all the right proportions. Example...If waist and length fit, thighs or calves are too tight. Some aspect is always off.

I have come to recently see the benefits of stretch in jeans it’s like having a built in tailor it takes in the baggy areas and stretch’s for the tight areas .

Just buy Levi's
Fitting problems solved. They have a cut for almost every body structure. The look is timeless and classic all at once. Plus, they wear well and look better over time.

For someone like me with not a lot of backside and a little pudge around the midsection the best off the rack brand is Wrangler in my opinion. I am a 36X32. They are a little stiff at first and take a little bit to break in but once you do they fit great.

I think one of the battles of well-fitting jeans, especially in classic denims, is that we're applying the fit and movement expectations of a wool or cotton smart-casual trouser to a fabric weight and seam construction which was never originally intended to fit that way. It's a case of "style" and "fit" becoming conflated on a garment type that wasn't historically originally designed to fit, fall, or move in the same way as we now want it to.

Best video about jeans fitting. Would agree seat is key. I have very bumpy seat and only Levis 569 look good at me. For any other number or other jeans brand I have to size up and look baggy at me. Levis 541 do not fit me well as live huge space in thighs. Now when levis 569 is disappearing from shelves would have go back to wrangler loose fit aka dad jeans.

Great video
Btw, how about a video about wearing turtlenecks with suits and sport jackets

To add "fit in seat" is rocket science. As I said in other comment I have very bumpy seat. I said Levis 569 fit me well in seat in size w34. But that mean it hug my seat from top to bottom of seat line. For example Levis 550 in w36 fit my sit well to half of it but than go straight down from there and look baggy.
