I understand what he's saying & it's not right they try to define him with one song. I still like it because I love anything Jani wrote. He was so talented. To true fans you will always be Jani an awesome singer & songwriter that is missed & taken too soon. Rip we love you Jani ❤

He was brilliant and gorgeous. Cant wait for those to pay for what they did to him when he was very young, all of it, especially the ones that took him from us because that event was sketchy as hell...miss you Jani gone too soon ❤

I think Jani does regret writing that song, that would annoy me being called cherry pie all the time!!

The album was good, uncle Tom’s cabin was excellent, but Cherry Pie is their best song hands down…. It’s a straight rocker and it’s gets the ladies going….

Jani Lane is one of the fallen angels/ demons that got kick out from heaven for their rebellion. A lot of them are in this generation ( celebrities, politicians, scientists) Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon🙏🏼❤️🕊Repent, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again

I wish i could tell Jani that his legacy for his fans is Sometimes She Cries, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Heaven, Down Boys, and I Saw Red. Not Cherry Pie 😢

He hated this song so much mainly cuz he was a respectful man and a gentleman felt like this song was objectifying woman
Only good thing was that he met Bobbi Brown and had his first daughter
Whether they had a good relationship or not his daughter wouldn't be here if it wasn't for this song
Just keeping it real

I remember being in 2nd grade in the 80s. We had to write a little paper about who we liked from TV or something like that. A kid in my class wrote his about DJ Tanner from Full House calling her his cherry pie.

I don't remember fuck all from before I was like 12 or 13, but I remember that for some reason

You can’t compare Cherry pie to love in an elevator 🛗 also you were no Steven Tyler .
