E36 is the cheapest setup to get started. Hands down. Mine taught me nearly everything I know. Good work fellas

IMO the Z really came to light due to s13/14 chassis getting hard to find or too expensive to to spend on a drift middle. All while the 350 became cheaper. So inherently the culture moved to the next cheap rwd well balanced Nissan. Not a bad thing buts it’s been interesting to see it change.

The gt86/brz/frs is a really good option for a driftcar too, they are rwd, lightweight and in a similar pricerange as the 350z.
