Attorney General William Barr on caring about his reputation: 'Everyone dies'

In an exclusive interview with "CBS This Morning," Attorney General William Barr highlights why he opened an investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation. Barr tells CBS News chief legal correspondent Jan Crawford there is evidence that makes him believe senior government officials may have acted improperly to authorize surveillance of President Trump's 2016 campaign. He says that led to "spying" on the campaign.

Now it makes sense that the mainstream media isn't showing this interview. We no longer live in a truth or truth teller is the hero, instead the person who is on my side is my hero, even if they're corrupt or liars. The future seems so uncertain. God help us.

CBS why not release full interview without the spin? Bill Barr articulates himself very well and would give the American people most of the answers they want without fear. He will eventually give the mainstream media more information than they will want to report.

Barr hasn't done anything wrong, we place too much value on reputations and what people think. He is 1000% right about what he is saying.

The rule of law is all that matters. Attorney General Barr is perfect for this job because that's all he cares about. Whether you like Trump or not, the last gang at the top of law enforcement clearly bent things in Hillary's favor and did the opposite when it came to Trump based on who they liked (and who they saw was "fit" for office). Everyone deserves the same kind of justice based on evidence and the law whether you like them or not. Barr is great because he is fair and he will not cave to partisan pressure.
