President Donald Trump said Friday that he will nominate Willam Barr as attorney general — a position that Barr previously held during the administration of President George H.W. Bush.

Barr, who would if confirmed by the Senate take over leadership of the Justice Department from acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker, is "a terrific man, a terrific person, a brilliant man," Trump told reporters at the White House.

Whitaker has headed the Justice Department on a temporary basis since last month, when Trump effectively fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Barr was AG from 1991 to 1993.

Trump has faced criticism ever since putting Whitaker in charge of the Justice Department without getting Senate approval for him.

Trump told reporters that while he "did not know" Barr until recently, "when I went through the process of looking at people he was my first choice, since day one."

We are ALL watching you you use all your resources
As you did in previous cases to investigate the (in your own words)
"In-humans " Minneapolis prosecutor(s) who decided the video evidence
in George Floyd's murder case had no merit.... the first time around.
As per your own speech they are un fit to hold a position of
responsibility.

How the hell Barr was nominated? He is a complete anti gun nut like Bloomberg and Chuck. I like Trump. I defended Trump, but now putting a anti gun nut for AG is like Trump kicked me in the nuts. Why?
