I've gotta say: Because of your channel, I've finally gotten around to finishing the Silmarillion, and I loved it; probably more so than both the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings.
It really made me want to read all of the additional texts too, though, so I'm going to have to carve out the time to read all of them at some point.

I listened to this video while having a walk outside, and i had my jaw down when Turin refused to go back to Doriath. This man is definitely cursed with bad decisions lol.

1:02:09 another great video and chapter in Turin's story. Yes he is stubborn but also he had found purpose. To redeem a group of men from evil and forge them into a "knighthood" that will unleash their violence against morgoth's servants only. In a context of hardships and troubled times there is much to be accounted for.
