Missing Dogs - Before and After [indie horror game]

I’m betting my money right now, once this horror game has it’s own fanbase, there’s gonna be an “It don’t bite” “YES IT DO” animation with these mutated dogs.

I feel like each design has something about the breed it’s based on.
Basil: A Great Pyrenees, known to have heart issues & forming leg problems over time.

Dimitri: A Daschund, who frequently have issues involving their jaws & spine.

Chief: A German Shepherd. They’re frequently trained as military & police dogs, which possibly explains the scarring.

Rigby: I am unsure of what breed Rigby is, but just looking at the design, snout & neck issues seem to be the primary concern

I wonder how they managed to be like this. Transforming into something that's against your will. Or just accepting it and becoming one with it, like Rigby. Basil having a bloody torso and a bloody muzzle, with bone like spine that clearly shows. Dimitri was once a simple little cute hot dog, turned into a long dog with no lower jaw, with blood dripping from the wound, with white eye and a bumpy spine, with more then two pairs of legs. I'm not going into detail with the other dogs, but this.. This is just cruel. From being bred from a wolf to a dog, to being transformed into creatures. Confused, scared, or sad.

I feel truly sorry for these dogs and what they were brought into. Rest now little puppies, let your dreams go wild.

Rigby's mutant design straight up tells what is mechanic is gonna be, he wanders around and will occasionally look down, when he does, you have to hide otherwise he will spot you and kill you

These dogs were cared for before they went missing and turned to this. Imagine, other people would see these creatures and think "monster" but imagine being these dogs owners and recognizing that this was your puppy, your doggy, your baby. I can't imagine how distraught the owners will be.

I wonder if they'd wag their tails, if they could. Do you think, maybe, even in all that pain, seeing a person like you would still make their tails wag once, twice? Or have they been hurt so much, there's no longer any joy in seeing a person. Not even someone there to help them. (I wonder if they'd even wag their tails for their owners, if they still remember the hands that loved them.)

From the looks of it, poor Basil has been gnawing into their side from the stress they’re under. Really effective work for making us feel terrible for what these pixels are going through.

I am an emotional person when it comes to animals, so I don’t think I could ever play this game for myself. However, I do hope it does well, and that it finds the people who will enjoy it. Best wishes ❤
